What is a Learning Champion?

Learning champions work closely with the Dublin Learning City Team to promote and celebrate learning in all forms. Their role involves spreading awareness of learning opportunities and communicating that learning is enjoyable and achievable at any stage of life by telling their story and participating in learning exchanges. Learning Champions inspire others to engage in learning practices by spreading information throughout their own networks.

What  is the Dublin Learning City project?

Dublin Learning City is a member of the UNESCO Global Network of Learning Cities to ensure education and learning is accessible and inclusive for every person. Through Dublin Learning City Festival, Learning Neighbourhood and other collaborative Learning Projects with higher education institutions we are committed to developing Dublin as a Learning City. We unite change actors from both formal and informal education and learning (University’s, community groups, NGO’s, local government and national and international networks). Together we co-create and promote ideas and supports to empower citizens to engage with learning.
