Folklore
What is folklore? Have you ever listened to someone tell a story and wished you could record them or write it down? On Thursday 23rd April our tutor Tomás Ó Loingsigh will give a workshop on folklore collection. The workshop will cover a discussion of what folklore really is – maybe more than you thought! It will also include an introduction to a folklore project Tomás has carried out on Inis Oírr, different approaches to collecting and archiving folklore, and an opportunity to try collecting some folklore of your own.
