Join us for an interactive object handling session in commemoration of the 1916 Easter Rising, and learn about the men and women involved in this historic event.

1916 in 16 objects explores fascinating stories from the Easter Rising through objects that reflect the legacy of this momentous turn in Irish history. The interactive handling session with artefacts from the Museum’s handling collection will feature uniform items, historical ammunition, and original documents from the time.

This is a drop-in handling session in the Museum Reception area. Handling sessions can be expected to take from 5-15 minutes. Children must be supervised at all times while on the premises. If you require further information, please contact [email protected].
