Boundary 100: A century of the border question – Perspectives, Memory and the Classroom
The History Teachers Association of Ireland, in conjunction with the National Library of Ireland, invite you to a discussion on partition, marking one hundred years since the conclusion of the work of the Boundary Commission. This panel will explore the lasting impact of the border question on politics, identity and public debate. Journalist Sam McBride, commentator Fintan O’Toole, and teacher Deirdre Mac Mathúna will bring contrasting perspectives to a fascinating conversation on how this contested history continues to shape civic life in Ireland today.
