Student Experience Day for Traveller & Roma Communities
Student Experience Day for Traveller & Roma Communities
My name is Ciara McGarry Quinn, I work in the UCD Access & Lifelong Learning Centre as the Traveller & Roma Access Officer. I assist people from the Traveller and Roma Communities in exploring university options and provide support for those currently attending university.
UCD Access & Lifelong Learning Centre is having a Student Experience Day for Traveller and Roma communities on Wednesday 9th of April 2025. During that day, you will have the opportunity to attend a real UCD lecture on a topic of your choice, explore the campus and learn about UCD’s entry pathways. All the courses you can attend during the event are undergrad courses available for first or second year UCD students. All the lectures are 50 minutes long.
This event is open to people from Traveller and Roma communities who are either going to apply for the CAO for September 2026 or are interested in applying to the University Access Course for September 2025. If interested please fill out the Expression of Interest form.

UCD Access & Lifelong Learning’s vision is that UCD will be a University for All, where all students, regardless of background or circumstances, feel welcome, belong and are valued. In doing so, all students can undertake their studies, participate fully in the life of the University, and realise their academic, professional, career and personal goals.
